Transitional Myelomonocytic Variant of AMML

Abstract

|
3 cases of transitional myelomonocytic variant of AMML was diagnosed at Hanyang university hospital from 1990 to 1991 Jan. The leukemic cells in these patients were marked by morphological and cytochemical sign of monocytic and granulocytic precursors and they revealed an equally strong activity of both peroxidase and sodium fluoride-sensitive esterase. We suggested the transitional myelomonocytic variant might be a special subtype of FAB M4 leukemia.
